Tramp`s photogallery

When I was in Hungary in 1996, I visited the Nyitramenti Collies. There and then I made up my mind that I once would like to have a collie from them, but had to wait until some of my oldies had left me.  When I lost my last old collie at x.mas time in 2007, time was there. I sent a mail to Elena, and she would help me to have a bitch puppy. In their site there were some photos of Tramp, and it also said they considered selling him. After a few more mails it was decided I could have him, and that he would be delivered in Stockholm, Sweden, at the World Show. In the meantime he was shown in different European countries. In February just before his first birthday, he was shown in Brno in Czeck Republic, 38 collies attended, and he had his CC and BOB. Soon aferwards they headed for England and Crufts. I don't know how many was attended, but Tramp ended up as the very first non-English bred Collie to be awarded the Res.DogCC. I had some happy mails from Hungary then, and I have to admit my heartbeat was a lot faster than normal. Returning to Hungary, he was shown at the Hungarian National Show, all breds, 1400 dogs attended, Tramp finished by winning his HunJrCH title, the dogCC, BOB, Best In Group and 3rd BEST IN SHOW. The year before he was shown in Holland and added his AMSTJR-Winner 07 to his name. Before leaving Hungary Tramp sired two puppies out of an elderly bitch, and I know they have retained his son. Also, according to records, Tramp was the 4th best winning dog, 2008, in Hungary before he left.

When he arrived in Sweden all his coat had come off, so he was not shown. I showed him once here, but it was too early for him. He has spent quite some time to adjust to life here - and learning the language - but now he is settling beautifully. I do look forward to the future with this dog, he is just fantastic. He is hip scored clear (A) and cea clear. Tramp is offered at stud to quality bitches.

I'd like to take the opportunity to send my heartfelt thank you to Elena and Janos for letting me have this wonderful dog and to Mr. Peter Harsanyi for breeding such a quality dog. Thank you all. When Janos was bringing Melanie to Norway in may 2009, Tramp was able to say "hello" to his "old daddy".

2009 has been tremendous year for Tramp bringing him 3 CC and 10 res.CC's and now he is waiting for the qualifying to gain his crown. He also was visitied by some young ladies. In additions to the litter out of my own Primrose, there were born 6 puppies at Os, 6 at Nesttun and 1 in Stavanger, most of them bitches. He is still available for stud services. I'd like to express my thanks and good luck's to all puppyowners by Tramp and especially to a young girl in Kristiansand who at her first apperance in the ring was awarded BOB, won the Group and ended up as 3rd BEST IN SHOW. Well done.

There are some things I would like to add about Tramp. He won his first big award at 9 months of age winning Amsterdam Jr. Winner in 07. Then he participated in Brno in Check Republic and won his CC, 38 Collies attending, with a BOB. Then he went off to Crufts, and it was already settled he was going to Norway at that time, being the first continental bred and owned Collie to be placed with a res.CC in 2008. Now as a Norwegian Champion, he is the first Hungarian bred Collie to win his title in a Scandinavian country. I am indeed proud of my darling Tramp, and he is just as gentle as he is good looking. LOVE YOU TRAMP.

Tramp meeting Janos again when he came to Norway with Melanie. Tramp was ever so happy to see "old" daddy again.

2011

Tramp has had a difficult spring, summer and early autumn. In May he detoriated to such an extent I thought I might loose him. He had caught Borelias by a tick bite, and he was very ill. I thought his back legs would be paralyzed. He went on 4 terms on antibiotics, and he slowly came back, but I was told he should in no circumstances be trained or put under pressure by long travelling and shows etc. Between his medications he had a terrible rash and he bit all his coat off at the inside of his back legs. We finally took some blood samples and skinsamples and sent them to Germany for further examinations, and todaqy I had the results. Tramp is perfectly ok apart from suffering froma bacterial skin infection that the antibiotics he had been on was not good enough as the bacteria in his skin were resistant to the medicine he had. Now he has a new one, and I hope he within 10 days will be fully recovered. Now he has already started a trainingprogramme along with all the others to make them fit as fiddles all of them.

This dog is nearly royal to me. He is gentle, playful, elegant, loving, determined and stubborn but  as loyal as you could dream of. His stabile temperament has amazed me when er have been moving around as much as we havwe lately. He leads the crowd with ease and calmness I never thought could be possible.

Here I present some photos done during the last few months.

Tramp sniffing something strange.

We did take the chance and letting the dogs run somewhat freely, but they kept together all the time

Mmmmm, something strange here

Tramp had a really bad summer. He caught high fever that returned several times. Some test later on it was confirmed he has pollen - and grass allergy. In addition it was confirmed he suffered from an "old" infection in his body caused by a tick bite which explained to me why he has been so heavy on the lead when showing and when it is hot outside. When he had his medication, he is a "new" boy. He loves the vet here, and refused to leave his office on his last controll. He insisted to lay on the table, and only some titbits could convince him to come down and go home, as ig he said:OK then, I'll come, but I was pretty comfortable here.

I'll watch your bag now mum! Tramp has made the girls run and has chilled off next to mum

The day Tramp became champion. Sorry, but I don't know who has done this photo

Tramp was worn out after his big show and lots of events happening that day. It's hard to be a "star", but he was very pleased with himself knowing he made mum happy.

The newly made up champion watching his girls in the garden. He did not bother to run after them as he decided he had done his running for the day in the ring.

Thanks a lot to Annika Monsen for shooting these photos for me. Unfortunately, the wind was very strong that day.

In Oslo the royal king is greeting the people from his balcony on our constitution day. My king can do the same.

Here are some images of Tramp in the ring at World Show. The results were not the best, and it shows Tramp not very happy. He was fed up with travelling, the day was hot and he missed his crowd back home - and shows it to the full.

Nice memories after all seeing lovely friends there.

 Offsprings

At the show 9-10th April I met 2 of Tramp's offsprings from 2 different litters. The first photo is a son bred by Elisabeth Wigdel, Enigma Collies, and this young still a junior has a CC to his credit:

The other offspring is a daughter form "the Hungarian" combination whose granmother on the sam side is Eurowinner veteran 2010, MultiCH Nyitramenti Ignesious Lace. This young lady's name is Early morning av Vikholmen

This is Bonnie, photos sent by her owner and litter sister to the one above.

Tramp's Norwegian offsprings

I have received some wonderful photos of Tramp's son, Dignity's Observer, Max, that lives in nothern Norway outside the city of Bodř.

Tramp was visited by a daughter that was bred by TellMe Collies. I'm afraid he can't say I refuse to be yur dad, as they are so much alike. Her daily name is Trixie.

This is Tramp's daughter as well and litter sister to Trixie. This one is Ruby

Let me present you with his daughters that I have bred myself as well. First of all, please, turn to Joy's pages for more photos of her, but let me present you with one of them.

Here Joy is approx. 6 months old.

This is Dignity's Ophelia, litter sister to Joy. Hope to have more updated photos of her and the rest of the litter

Tramp was also mated to a Hungarian importet bitch last year, Sunresc Lace Back To Fame, producing 6 puppies, 5 bitches and 1 dog. Would like to present some photos of some of them. Photos from Vikholmen Collies.

I have got some updated photos of Tramp's son of the pure Hungarian combination. Here Birk is approx. 11 months old.

This is Bonnie, a daughter from the pure Hungarian combination done at Vikholmen. She's a lovely girl. Owner is Mr. Lars Tveite.

Tramp has also become a grand dad in Hungary and she is a little heartbreaker, and I know she is available for the right owner.

This is Charlottesville Annabella and you'll meet her at Nyitramenti Collies in Hungary. Photos of this young girl is by Mrs. E. Balazsovits, Nyitramenti Collies
